Nearly 90 years ago, the founders of The Monumental City Bar Association (Monumental) ushered in a new age of legal pioneers who changed the color of the Maryland Bar by adding shades of brown. The legacy of service, education, and social impact still thrives today 90 years later. Our mission is to foster diversity among the bar and the bench in Maryland and to serve our respective communities. In recent years, our members have received numerous awards and recognitions from The Daily Record, the National Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and Super Lawyers, among other organizations. We invite you to celebrate the rich history and bright future of Monumental by attending our 90th Anniversary Celebration.
